Why this component is important.
All the steam cleaners with continuous refill system in the market are provided with water level sensors and over pressure safety valves mounted directly on the boilers.
One of the most important factor for steam cleaners is the quality of the water used. The cleaner the water the fewer problems. Water contains minerals and sometimes other impurities. These materials cause the forming of a layer of encrustations on the sensor thus compromising the functionality of the sensor itself and the whole system as well. 
 
Most of the boiler refilling problem cases are due to the sensor malfunctions. The ability for the user to inspect the probe and keep it cleaned it is an important step forward to preserve the appliance in good condition. The inspection of the sonsor though is not to be every day but it can be done once 3 or 6 months depending if the equipment is used everyday for commercial business or at home. The inspection of the sensor also allows understanding the condition of boiler itself and decide whether it is necessary to drain the boiler from the bottom and perform a boiler maintenance. If the sensor (probe) presents a layer of encrustation it is greatly possible that the same layer exists on the internal boilers walls. 
Almost all the refilling boiler problem cases are due to this sensor mulfuncion and the appliance should be sent to the service center but now with this new and innovative feature these cases can be remarkably reduced.
